My students, here in Italy, were questioned about a unit called CLIL. Learning history using a second language, in this case English. The topic was Henry VIII and his wives. The goal of the review was to decide if going on with the same experience. Even if the students disagree with going on, they admit that clil method is good to remember some historical topics for they say they remeber Henry VIII more than other topics. The less performing students find this method more difficult than the other students but this is understandable.

Here we are in a little village of Cameroon. Just like many other villages around the world, Early Marriage has shown the weakness of present day Democratic Governments. "The Government can't solve all problems" - some people think. But, one can easily figure out that, Government is powerfully able to help the wealthy rig elections, render the majority voiceless, promote misery, maintain the wealthy in power, widen the gap between the rich and poor, promote corruption and give a blind eye to the basic necessities of Human Beings.

While acknowledging that the former Ministers of the Economy and Finance, Polycarpe Abah Abah, and Public Health, Urbain Olanguena Awono, could be guilty of misappropriation of public funds, the primary motive of their arrests, beyond reasonable doubt, rests on differing political ideologies in a regime that nourishes dearth of a democracy of opinion.

As President Paul Biya scrambles to figure out how to curb corruption and embezzlement of state funds, the disenfranchised poor, working and middle class Cameroonians, who are the immediate and most affected by corruption, consider themselves mere spectators of this choreographed fight.

My personal favorite - defines an arc (ie: line arcing from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock. Puts all voters equal distance from the (0,0) point; but doesn't take into consideration if the constituency changes their habits over time.

The higher the voter's relative 'standing', the larger vote. The differences can be quite substantial when some voters have a much higher achievement than others.

This is a sample/example of the possibilities of putting vote sizing in the school classroom, and modifying the curriculum based on what the students, including the poorer performing students, might want. Here is a short-cut to the xls file: Vote Sized Survey - Example.xls.

It is impossible to have more investors than employees. More Presidents, Ministers, CEOs than the poor, working and middle class. So it is in our interest, to keep society in a peaceful state by accepting this simple reality. But we cannot go anywhere with this, if we do not denounce the idea of "More Money More Power and Vice Versa", especially during elections. Welcome to the Gentle Revolution - An original new way of looking at the wellbeing of mankind, only with Vote Sizing.

When a society finds itself engulfed in every facet of its life that is opposed to the virtues of democracy and good governance, that society is decadent. This means people would have to lost touch of reality and governance is being abused.

Vote sizing is a way to modify the way elections are held by using computer technology to adjust the size, or weight, of individual votes. Using barcodes on paper ballots, various criteria can be stamped on each person's vote; so when the votes are added up, some people's votes count for more than others.
